"I am a person in love with life, in love with love; someone who dreams of the unimaginable because I believe nothing is impossible when desired passionately."
This philosophy breathes through every brushstroke, fabric, paper, and hue in Parte de mi. Born with a profound appreciation for life as an extraordinary gift, Mersuka sees the world as a mosaic of uniqueness, where everyone has something special to contribute. Her art, deeply rooted in love, is an invitation to dream boldly and find beauty in the everyday.
A compulsive traveler with an insatiable curiosity for new places, people, and cultures, Mersuka channels her journeys into her work. India, with its kaleidoscope of colors, textiles, and vibrant energy, became an early muse, while Bali reignited her creativity through its rich traditions and handmade crafts. This exhibition reflects the moments and places that touched her soul and inspired her vision.
Mersuka’s artistic journey began in the countryside of Spain, evolving into a vocation driven by passion and resilience. Fascinated by textures, particularly handmade fabrics and papers rich with stories, she found a canvas for her life’s reflections.
Through life’s joys and challenges—raising six children, moving continents, and embracing unexpected roles—painting has remained her constant. Parte de mi is not just an exploration of color and form but a testament to the power of dreams and the extraordinary in the ordinary.
"I wake up every day thinking, what luck! Another day to feel, love, and create."
